  • Who we are and what we believe
Welcome to Holy Cross Episcopal Church and thank you for your interest in our parish's life and ministry.

The vision statement of the Episcopal Diocese of Arkansas, of which we are a part, says, "...we are shaped by our experience of God's love in the midst of the ordinary transformed by the extraordinary power of the resurrected Jesus."

We will be honored to join with you and share in this mutual and continuing journey of discovery and transformation in Christ Jesus our Lord
.

Worship

Our worship centers on the Holy Eucharist - also called Holy Communion, the Mass, or the Lord's Supper. We invite everyone to worship with us. Regardless of membership, church denomination or church affiliation, all Christians baptized with water in the Name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are welcome to participate in, as well as receive the Holy Communion.

Our Schedule of Services

8:00 am Holy Eucharist, Rite I
(A quiet service using traditional "Old English" language and no music.)

9:00 am Christian Life Formation
Classes for all ages in the Christian Education Building
Newcomers and visitors are always welcome to attend.

10:15 am Holy Eucharist, Rite II

Tuesday through Friday:

8:30 am Morning Prayer

5:30 pm (Quiet) Holy Eucharist

Many other opportunities for worship, prayer and reflection are announced throughout the year.

Christian Life

Most of us worship, and nurture our life in Christ in the few hours a week we gather together at church and in Sunday School, and yet, we are called to live our Christian life the remaining 160+ hours a week.

At Holy Cross you can:

  • Participate in Daily Morning Prayer
  • Provide meals to those in need
  • Bring canned goods to Church for distribution to area Food Pantries
  • Be a part of our women's or men's fellowship gatherings
  • Help knit prayer shawls
  • Attend Christian Education classes
  • Serve at the Altar or on the Altar Guild
  • Assist with our youth ministries
  • or participate in various programs and opportunities to serve our community as announced throughout the year.
Who knows, you may even discover another opportunity that calls together this community to live and serve an even fuller Christian life.
